Today I'm thankful for each and every one of you. Have a great day, holiday or not, everyone!

Today, I am thankful I don't work in HR :)

Right back at you my friend, and to everyone else here.

Huh? No hockey sticks or pucks on Parliament Hill’s $5.6-million ice rink that celebrates Canada’s birthday | Toronto Star

What's even the point of this? 26 days (only ten of which actually run concurrently with the winter season), no hockey, $5.6 million?!

The rules and warnings for the rink are...quirky:

"The site surface may be snowy or icy or uneven and, despite best efforts to maintain the site, it may be slippery"

Damn that slippery ice ruining it for everyone!

And then my favourite: "After that, the rink will be dismantled and the boards and glass will be donated to a “vulnerable” community in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, Joly said.

So, all they'll need is an ice plant, zamboni, cooling system, a building and staff now to go skating on skates they probably can't afford either. Thanks!

Obviously posted by someone who isn't gonna get any piece of that $5.6 million

Worth noting that Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin were both a Time Person of the Year.

A lot of people tend to forget it's not exactly the Lady Bing trophy

No, no, no. It is where Time Magazine gets together and decides who the best person on earth is. And once you get on the cover, everyone will love you and your mommy will tell you how handsome and perfect your are.

If you believe Hitler was ever on it, that's sad. FAKE NEWS.
