It's strange that we are in a place where we are judging and ranking the quality of people's responses to allegations of sexual misconduct because it happens so often. But he seems to be approaching it with a sense of remorse and honesty. Which is a nice change.

The fact he stated the women were telling the truth is a good thing. Even though the stories were out there years ago I am sure some people would have called them liars. My intention is not to lessen what he did but as bad and weird as it is, he didn't touch anyone (unless more stuff is coming) so I wouldn't be surprised if he continues to have some kind of career at some point.

I'm definitely not going to defend Moore because I think he symbolizes about 99% of what's wrong with politics in this country right now.

However, I will point out that he has denied outright the allegation that would be a crime and is only saying he doesn't remember about those which would be creepy to sane people but not actually illegal under the laws at the time.
