This matches the overall low mark in a Fox News poll (38%) from last week that also marked his approval rating at 38%. The man said it himself that he could shoot somebody in the middle of 5th Avenue and not lose any voters.

He's said a lot of stupid and/or false shit, but he was unfortunately correct about that one. There's nothing right now that could convince a large portion of those who voted for him that he's not doing a great job. And if you dig into the 19% of Republicans that don't approve, I bet you'd find a substantial portion who think that's because he's not being crazy enough (my words).
