The SEC network is owned by ESPN. At this time, ESPN owns the Longhorn Network and pays royalties to IMG and Texas. BTW, if you read the contract between ESPN and University of Texas, the Texas Athletic Department cannot do anything without a blessing from ESPN.
ESPN owns the rights to the brand new College Football Playoff.
Are you possibly insinuating that the SEC and Texas just might get preferential treatment so ESPN can force more carriers because ESPN has Texas and the SEC? Nah.. Couldn't possibly happen. I wonder why ESPN keeps stonewalling the ACC on a network?
