Let's see. Creampuffs: Oklahoma, Baylor, Oklahoma St. at the end of the season. SEC vs Big 12 bowls: 113-53.

There could be an argument for the B1G, but not really. Not this year, not last year, not in the last 20 yrs.

Georgia (12-2) won the Sugar.
Florida (11-2) won the Orange.

Alabama (11-2) winning the Citrus is just the 4th best result!

FWIW, I thought the B1G was the best conference all year, but only Penn State (11-2 @ Cotton) and Minnesota (11-2 @ Outback) came through in the clutch as a top team. Ohio State (13-1 @ Fiesta) was obviously an elite team - even in defeat.

The ACC: Clemson (14-0 @ Fiesta) and the Pac-12: (Oregon 12-2 @ Rose) were one and done conferences as far as elite teams.
