I just got back to my room and see Alabama is playing their first game against a team with an offensive pulse and they are struggling to keep up.

when he was the OC @ Maryland, Maryland fans would often complain that Locksley is similar to the AAU handlers that dominate basketball recruiting. great recruiter, sucks at everything else

We got him as an OC because of recruiting, and then we got Tosh as DC simply because of recruiting. We keep losing them all the time to coaching jobs, so they promoted within to try and stop the bleeding, but it's showing up as being bad now that we are playing a real team.

And the kicker of it all is they still come and take our OC and they'll probably take Tosh too.

Way of the beast, similar to how bottom teams always lose their HC to top teams, the top teams always lose their assistants.
