Bill Bergen for HoF!
Positives
Russell Wilson - Dude has been playing out of his mind the last 3 weeks. 11 TDs, 0 picks and nearly 900 yards passing. The numbers have been very impressive.
Turnovers - The Ravens have been one of the most turnover prone teams in the NFL (24th) and only have 2 games without a turnover all season. Baltimore has been especially turnover prone the last 4 weeks with 10, while Seattle's defense has had 8 take aways in the same period.
Jimmy Clausen - I hate to glorify injuries, but Jimmy Clausen is Matt Schaub, who isn't Joe Flacco. When Clausen started in Seattle week 3, Chicago was too scared to let him do anything, as they seemed to just concede the game to the Hawks. Unfortuneately for the Ravens, that isn't a winning strategy - so they'll need him to throw, just there isn't much right now for him to throw to.
Negatives
Run defense - Baltimore has been very good against the run this season, ranking 10th in the league against the run, and only allowing 100 yards to a team 3 times this season. Thomas Rawls may find the Ravens to be a tough defense to run against.
Javorius Allen - Since Forsett went down, Allen has been averaging 120 yards from scrimmage. Allen will need a huge game today to take pressure off Clausen - cause if Clausen has to win the game - then the game is over.
Returns - Seattle has Tyler Lockett, who has electrified the fanbase with his athleticism and big returns, but Baltimore has allowed just 7 KO returns all season - and their punt coverage has just given up 5.5 yards per return.
Matchups
Crockett Gilmore/Maxx Williams vs. LBs - The Seahawks have had a terrible time this season when it comes to defending TEs, and they are going to need to fix it before the playoffs. They've done well the last 2 weeks, but they'll need to continue it the rest of the way.
Jimmy Smith/Ladarius Webb vs. Doug Baldwin - Baldwin has been out of his mind productive the last 4 weeks, and he has been the focal point of Seattle's newly potent aerial attack. Baltimore hasn't been very good against the pass at times this season, and if they want to succeed they'll need to start with Baldwin - but they'll also have to contend with Lockett and Willson as dangerous weapons as well.
Overview
This game seemed to be a nearly rubber stamp to the win collumn when Schaub was starting, and Clausen is just horrible. In his defense though, this will be his 3rd start against the Seahawk defense out of his 15 career starts. It's just hard to imagine a fully healthy Ravens team would win this game, and the Ravens are far from fully healthy. If Seattle comes at this game as they have approached the last few, this is a one sided affair, but if they think it's a pushover game - then it could be a lot closer than it should be.
