You lost me. MY has nothing to do with my statement. Profar has given Wash the privledge of resting Beltre, Elvis and Kins which Wash has done and that's all I said period.

And all I said was, Profar is playing the "position" which MY occupied last season! Young filled in, albeit not so good at SS, but he was fine for limited rolls at both 2nd and 3rd. Where's the confusion hoss?

It was not that difficult of a play if you get in front of the ball.

Not really. Michael Young had the same "opportunity" last season and it wasn't given to him by Wash! Don't get me wrong, I'd rather see Profar (especially at SS) than Young, but JP is playing the same "position" as MY from last season.

What do you mean MY didn't get the opportunity last year? Young last year had 41 games at 1b, 25 at 3b, 16 at 2b and 4 at SS. Young's glove, agility and arm were a defensive liability (-2.1 dWAR) ... Profar isn't (-0.3 dWAR).

Profar is playing the Alberto Gonzalez role plus MY role combined.

He really wasn't "fine" at any infield position.

I didn't notice that, you're saying some disagreement I assume?

He kept shaking off the sign and called AJ out to the mound. When AJ got there he told him what he was going to throw and turned and walked off and left AJ standing there.
