Felix has been doing it for years but so has Verlander. Historically Felix takes the cake (obviously) but we're talking about their performance this year.

Felix: 2.47 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 9.17 K/9, .240 BAA
Scherzer: 2.85 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, 9.91 K/9, .192 BAA

Ks are the same era is better. To me those are the most important

ERA is a great stat but it doesn't tell the whole story. You can't just ignore the handful of other stats that show how much harder it is to hit Scherzer than Felix.

ERA is a great stat but it doesn't tell the whole story. You can't just ignore the handful of other stats that show how much harder it is to hit Scherzer than Felix.

Yeah that's true but if I had to pick who give you the best start and most run prevention it's the King. I'm sure if tigers were offered Felix for scherzer straightt up they would take felix
