Nice come back win tonight.. really loving the walk offs and how they keep grinding hard in the ninth.


On side note though, this has to be one of the most bi-polar series threads ever.

Scheppers needs to avoid the big inning, he pitched well for about 6 innings last time and just had the one bad inning, spefically the one really bad pitch to Grossman for the 3 run shot

Rev might have said it best when he said Scheppers has the same problem that Holland did when he started out- always that has that one big inning like you said. I remember I went to Holland's MLB debut game, it was vs the Yanks. Radio and scouting reports got me all hyped up, then... he got lit up. It sucked b/c there were tons of Yankee fans there and they wee being assholes. So, I started cheering for the Red Sox.

It's any young pitcher really. If you can figure out away to limit those you will have success in the league.

How awesome would it be to be Vernon Wells right now. He is like the 2nd highest guy on the halos payroll this season and he gets paid that to stay at home.

The only way I could ever cheer for the Angels in a game is if it were game 162 and they needed to beat the A's for the Rangers to make the playoffs. Yes, I hate the Angels that much.

With that being said, I equally hate the Oakland A's, so I could never root for them either. Therefore I hope the game lasts 20 hours long, both teams burn out all of their players and pitchers, and one team loses in a horrifically heartbreaking fashion.
