I think I'd rather live in the so called waste land than a place that rains half the time and has winters. I'll never shit on Zona after Pat Tillman gave his life and away his career for our freedom. Fuck that dime a dozen lawyer

Having lived in AZ for 10 years and the Pacific NW for 8, I would take Seattle over Phoenix 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

Pat Tillman is from California by the way, not Arizona.

AZ > Washington

The three W's. Women, Weed and Weather.

Most of the women I met in Scottsdale were gold digging, fake ass bitches who were looking to marry a millionaire.

Most women form Washington I have known were much more down to earth and real people.

So there goes that theory.

Weed is legal in Washington. In AZ a seed will get you locked up for 3-5.

Theory 2 busted.

Weather is a trade off I guess and subjective.

Do you prefer triple digits from May - Oct to Rain about 30% of the time?

Winters are nice in Southern AZ but they come with Scorpions and Rattlesnakes in your back yard and house.

Spring, Summer and Fall in Washington are pretty nice, but winters can be cold and dreary.

Better food, people, music and sights in Seattle over all.

Lived in AZ since 95 and Seattle for 3 years before that. So allow me to give my 2 cents....

You are comparing women in Scottsdale, a city in Arizona, to women in the entire state of Washington. You do realize there are other cities in AZ, don't you? So I will counter with some equally biased, ridiculous logic... If your definition of "down to earth women" means a pasty scag with dreadlocks and legs you need to comb, I agree. Face it dude, AZ women > than WA women... not even debatable.

Quality of weed or sentence for possession of weed has no significance on how tolerable a city or state is in my book, so you can have that one.

If you are saying it is triple digits 6 months out of the year in Phoenix, you never lived their.

A quick google search shows the following average temperature in Phoenix by month since 1981. And this doesn't consider beautiful norther AZ.

January Weather Average temperature: 56
February Weather Average temperature: 60
March Weather Average temperature: 65
April Weather Average temperature: 73
May Weather Average temperature: 82
June Weather Average temperature: 91
July Weather Average temperature: 95
August Weather Average temperature: 94
September Weather Average temperature: 88
October Weather Average temperature: 77
November Weather Average temperature: 64
December Weather Average temperature: 55

BTW- I can't remember the last time a saw a Scorpion in the winter.

AZ is one of the fastest growing states in the country. I guess that is because of the horrible weather, lack of women and weed laws.

Sorry friend, but you are an idiot.

lol..thats funny

Among the 29 states I have lived in, 6 years in Phoenix and 1 in Seattle....I'll take Seattle a million to 1 also...I hope I never have to see Saudi Arizona again in my life....I hate everything about that place

P.S. I suspect the growing population is a result of the overnight south of the border crossings

Another, moronic, "my city is better than your city" thread.

tumblr_inline_mh6m4fXTRv1rssev3.gif

I love the Pacific Northwest, though not so much Seattle. I really like SF a lot, too.

If I had to pick the top 3 places I'd want to live, these would be it:

1) Anywhere on the Olympic Peninsula in WA
2) Bellingham, WA
3) San Francisco, CA

Santa Maria would be before Seattle for me as well.

Lol, maybe the growing population is from all those Canadian farmers selling off to the oil companies up here and heading south to warmer climates. Ok, enough of this, honestly. This thread is just stupid. Who the fuck cares where you live or why you like living there. There are pros and cons to every place. Stereotyping and idiotic ramblings about why one place is better than the other is lame. It's gotten as bad as school kids on the playground arguing over who's dad is tougher. Everybody just whip out your dicks and measure up and end this already. Sheesh.

BTW - I agree about how stupid this thread has gotten. I just hate biased morons who try and make a point based off of exaggerated opinions.

July - 106
Aug - 105

weather, women, and other miscellaneous geography aside, Washington is a state full of pretentious assholes who have no reason to be since they are among the dumbest people in the country, but don't even realize it. At least you Arizonans know your warts. Give me a real Arizonan over some lame ass shithead from Washington any day of the week.

I look at your teams and your signature pic, and I see why you said what you said. It makes perfect sense.

Take care.

Just so y'know, "biased" is about as empty an indictment as "racist." Neither one really says anything at all.

...And I'm not just being persnickety because the Niners play the Cardinals on Sunday.

You can take the work "biased" as literally as you want, however there were some other words in my post that I think made my point pretty clear. I was just trying to point out his homegrown theory based post was lame.

San Fransisco has the best restaurants of any city in the world.....

Things might have changed since I was living on the coast. I lived in Santa Maria, and spent a lot of time in San Louis Obispo and Santa Barbara, too. But that was more than 20 years ago.

I can verify that SLO and surrounding areas are STILL amazing. Not a lot of traffic, fantastic weather, terrific people, great wine and dining, incredible landscape with coastal beaches and Big Sur, and within 3 hours of major cities if ya gotta have that.

SLO was one of CALI's best kept secrets until it was voted "best city to live in" a while back...

I hope to move back (to SLO) sometime - sooner the better. Want to buy my house in North Carolina?

My plan is to move back as soon as I'm done in Okinawa. Still at least a couple years away.

When I get back, I'll buy you a beer.....
