Well, Pearson isn't a sure thing on the 2nd line. He had a good post season but he only has like what? 40-60 games of NHL experience?

Ideally, you could do

Williams-Kopitar-Gaborik
Carter-Richards-Toffoli
Brown-Stoll-Pearson
King-Lewis-Clifford

Pearson played 25 regular games and 24 post season games.
This means he could win the Calder trophy. I don't think he will

It's really getting close now fans. Training camp has started and the first preseason game is only 2 days away. Actually 2 games. Split squad affairs. One in Phoenix and the other at Staples Center. Here's a link to the training camp roster.

I've got a ticket. Not sure if I'll make the trip though. I do like to see how some of the youngsters play so I might just make it. If not my grandson will most likely use the ticket.

Could very well happen depending on how well Cracknell or Van der Gulik play. Or possibly one of the youngsters like Mersch or Kitsyn if they can really shine in camp and during the preseason games. I would imagine it would be veteran who would get the nod over Pearson though.
