Like go 72-10? Pipp was 19/6/6/2 that year on 16 shots/game. And that team Lost 2 games in the last 2 weeks of the regular season (bored) and only lost 3 games in the playoffs. They were up 3-0 on Seattle in the Finals and lost 2 in a row or it would have been 1 loss in the entire playoffs. I believe that team was the ONLY team ever to have 3 players on the 1st team NBA all defense and is still the only team ever to do it. That's pretty much dismantling I would say.

And I'm not saying Pippen is better than Lebron, because he's not as gifted offensively. But he was dam good, never took a play off and was flying around the rim 24/7.

I dont think anyone is debating Pip was a great, but the whole point is Pip was saying I was Lebron before Lebron. The thing is they arent the same type of player either and Pippen was nearly as gifted as Lebron at all facets not including defense. I dont think you can compare Lebron to MJ or Pip, honestly.

And Rodman had already won a defensive POY award in Detroit. That team was stupid good. It's a dam shame they fell asleep for 2 games against the Supersonics in the Finals or they would have only lost 1 OT game to the Knicks that year in the playoffs. Seattle was a scoring machine that year if you remember.

And he's put up the same stats season after season since he was a starter back in the late 90's. It's not like he's getting triple doubles every night like LBJ. Maybe the magnifying glass should be shined on LBJ in reference to performance. He's the only player that has gotten better even after being in the league more than a decade.
