Nebraska has seemed to want to go to that speed/tempo game last couple of years, that is what Frost most likely would run, he sees how it works at Oregon and how effective it is. Also, Frost has been conducting practices the Chip Kelly way for several years now, it is a unique way to practice and has proved to be efficient.

Unfortunately for us Ducks, Frost seems like a great fit with Nebraska. He has a young innovative background and home grown roots to Nebraska. Im sure he could sell that place like no other.

Frost would not be my first choice as a HC, but if that's all we can get then it's better than what we have right now. I don't know anyone who would really want the job right now unless allot of money was waived in front of them, other than a person who was previously involved in the program

It's a unique place here, not everybody can succeed.. There's no reason for me to believe Pat Fitzgerald would field any better teams than he does at Northwestern..

Frost is actually my #1 option as well.

My main reasoning for this is because Oregon is the exact model of what I want our team to be like right now, and Frost has seen every step of the way towards achieving that success. I believe that he has the knowledge of what it takes to go in that direction.

The fact that he also has obvious Nebraska ties just pushes it over the edge. He would be passionate about upholding tradition here and he understands what the expectations are here.

Nebraska needs a proven elite coach which are few and far between.

You are assuming a 3 game offensive coordinator with someone elses system and players is going to be an elite coach someday?

Throwing money around isn't necessarily the best option either, dick in the mouth ND went through this process for what 10 years, and they have pulled in top 10 recruiting classes every one of those years

I haven't even looked at this point. Pelini's not going anywhere until December 1st at the minimum.
