Interpretation: I believe Seahawks fans are magically louder than other fans.

Well it has been pretty much been proven, you think they are not? do you have any proof?.

Have you ever been to the KingDome or CLink? maybe you should ask some NFL players.

No, it's been proven that they are louder IN THEIR STADIUM.

If we were to do an experiment, and have the Seahawks play a home game at Arrowhead Stadium, and the Chiefs play a home game at Century Link, which stadium do you think would be louder?

Why does it matter if they built their stadium to make the fans seem louder?

You mean their Stadiums, right? because you see like was pointed out in this thread that it was the same in the KingDome, granted CLink does add more sound but the fact remains Seattle Seahawk fans are very loud.

That's never going to happen so that is just silly.

My best friend's family has season tickets to the Chiefs so when the Broncos play they every once in a while throw tickets my way. Seriously that stadium is just nuts. No other fans compare. And yes I have been in Century Link. Lived in Seattle for a while and that stadium does help those fans out. I am not saying they are not good fans but they just don't quite add up to the level of Chiefs fans in Arrowhead.

It doesn't. Actually I think it was smart.

Gee, a DOME was really loud? Huh, I don't think I've ever heard of that before.

Of course it's not going to happen. But the fact that you won't answer is rather telling.

Humans in Seattle were created by God to be more vocal, eh? Even the transplants from other states and countries become louder the moment they cross the threshold into Seattle.

There's no denying that the design helps but remember the Clink is still an outdoors stadium. Naturally domes should still be louder...yet it's the Clink that breaks the loudest record and not a dome.

I'm not sure why people are so obsessed with trying to discredit our fan base. We've established ourselves as one of the loudest fans back when we were in the King Dome and we're continuing to show that now at the Clink.

If you really think the stadium design is the real reason why we broke the record you need to go back and watch the WSU vs Stanford game. Same stadium, different crowd...different results in noise decibels.

Ok? I understand Seahawk fans take pride in the idea they are the loudest stadium in the NFL but it doesn't mean other fans are not as devoted or just as loud. As a Bronco fan I hate the Chiefs but I respect the heck out of their fans as even when they were bad they would fill that stadium and cheer as loud as they possibly could.

Seahawk fans refuse to accept science. The noise at CLINK is only caused by the rib of adam.

How do you explain the noise during the Kingdome days?

It's funny you would even poke your head in here.

Where does it say that roof amplifies the sound 10x? I'm still waiting for the proof you said you had that this is the case. It simply can't be that much of an effect.

We did tell you the roof has an impact. I said that directly to you more than once. I also pointed out what this article also said:

These physics also change behavior. “Fans get caught up in it,” says Stewart. “They experience an intense increase in the sound levels that they would not normally experience in an outdoor environment, and are energized by it.” As a result, they scream even louder.

This is the part you deny or ignore and what most Seattle fans were trying to tell you.

Yes the roof has an effect, but in addition to the sound it does reflect back just knowing it does makes those fans even more rabid than they would have otherwise have been. Do you now accept that? Or is this article another propaganda piece by some Seattle supporting journalist?

As for the actual amount of effect, it still can't be as much as a domed stadium which doesn't let ANY sound out and yet the clink is still louder than any of those have ever been. The clink lets all sorts of sound escape. This is scientific fact. Deal with it.

It's weird that the same fans magically got louder after they moved out of a dome into an open air stadium.

Is that some kind of opinion or do you have any data on this?

Seattle was first accused of pipping in noise when they were in the king dome so no, they did not get louder when they moved. Nice try.

I think his point is that Seattle fans think they personally are the loudest and refuse to accept the noise is from the stadium. Seahawks fans are some sorta Superfans they dont all have god like voices that can topple a wall.

Obviously you think all fan bases are equal in volume.
Superfans? Nope, just super loud.
