If Austin gets a HC job I'd kill to have Schwartz back as DC. Impossible dream, I know.

Good luck wherever you land Schwartzy, you'll always be the guy that got this party started.

:suds:

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports Bills in-limbo DC Jim Schwartz is expected to leave the team following the hiring of coach Rex Ryan.

It'd be a big loss for the Bills, though the defense will still be in great hands. Ryan runs a 3-4, while Schwartz is a proponent of the 4-3. That's not the real issue, however. Ryan is bringing over most of his Jets staff and will control the defense. Coming off a tremendous year in which his Bills defense led the league in sacks, Schwartz will be a hot candidate for clubs looking for a defensive play-caller. The Giants, among others, should be lining up.

Not sure if one year is enough to shake off the end of season meltdown or not. (I spent one week out of 80 wishing he was gone. That's really low for a Lions HC.)

But Id think he'd get an interview for a HC spot atleast. He definitely doesn't need to prove himself as a DC. Gotta be the top candidate for any vacancy there.

Maybe as your next HC (of course if Peyton doesn't want it...)

Peyton Manning for first-ever player, coach and owner! Owners would approve, right? :hope:

The bills are going through an entire make over. IMO they should have made Marrone the deal he wanted and gave it a couple more years. They were getting close to getting it right.

Now....Nothing but questions again..

Whiz gonna fall out of love with the 3-4?

You tell me. Only Titan football I saw this year was on NFL Redzone, and that wasn't much since they weren't inside the 20 very much.

What is the deal with offering Peyton a place in ownership? Did that die with Bud or is it still tabled?

Gaining Rex as a HC and losing Schwartz as a DC seems like spinning wheels to me. I really thought it was the Bills D that got them noticed this year.

As long as that moron stays away from Chicago, you or anyone else can have him.

Whiz is going to stick with his plan to the bitter fucking end, Smitty. :mad2:

Obviously I wanted him here in Dtown, this time last year. But I can't say I even have an opinion on what he's done in Nashville. There had to be a Primetime game, but I don't remember.

Schwartz beat the Bears ass as a Lion and a Bill. He knows that franchise better than anyone in Chicago.

I won 5k week 1 betting on the Bills vs. the Bears. Easiest $$$ I ever made after seeing how badly Schwartz owned you guys while in the D.

I dunno. Musta been goin thru blue Ecigs during their national broadcast. And my buddy Damon moved back from Nashville early this fall. (His furnace went out yesterday. It was cold as shit watchin' games yesterday.). Hammer is my lone Titans insider these days.

Why on Earth any Lions fan would want that arrogant sack of crap back is beyond me?

Then again I can see certain posters here very much attracted to that fake macho, "me-versus-the-world" shtick that Schwartz puts on. Kind of a kindred spirit thing, I guess.

Imo, any man who gets his pants fucking custom-tailored to make his junk look bigger has some serious issues to work out, and can stay the fuck away from my team (which got drastically better as soon as Schwartz was no longer in charge)...

That's because you're evaluating Schwartz by his results on the field for us, and not his ability to act like a wanna-be bad ass, which is far more important to some...
