You sound like a lawyer for gun manufacturers, tobacco, or big pharma.

Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. Just saying.
I don't think the product Disney pushes is bad for anyone. They aren't enablers, they are employers.

Do you consider all companies that hire child actors the reason (if) the child grows up to suck?

Disney stated they have fully complied with her contract, now she is not happy to me it reeks of stuffy bitch.
I am sure there are loopholes in the contract that they see and she doesn't.

no, I just don't care.

I don't see a problem with what Disney did.

How many times do you think they pushed this movie because of that clause in her contract? This movie has been delayed for release since COVID hit and theaters closed. It is starting to affect their Phase 5 or whatever of MCU. They needed to put it out and for it to make money. She can't stop an entire movie from being released because of that one clause.
She didn't object to it being released when it was. She's objecting to it being released concurrently on streaming.

Release it in theaters like they did, but wait a few weeks to release it on Disney+. Like Paramount did with A Quiet Place II.

How does the simultaneous release on Disney+ unblock their pipeline?

I get that...she wanted JUST a theater release.

Disney realized they weren't going to be successful with JUST a theater release because of COVID and they want to maximize profits.

She may have a point and they might settle, but I think they needed to do what they did.

Okay, I take it back, you sound like a child miner advocate. The coal isn't the issue.

I don't even disagree with your position, really. It just doesn't seem to suit you.

He hates women. Long history of mommy/sister issues.

She didn't want to limit it to theaters forever, just for a normal period. The only question is why Disney didn't wait a few weeks.

The answer seems obvious: to take advantage of the release to drive traffic to Disney+ those first weeks, which would obviously be at the expense of the box office. And I'm sure they'll settle.

It's all about Disney+ right now, which is fine, but how they handle the transition matters. It's not just ScarJo.

how long did you want them to wait?

In mid-March, Disney removed the film from its release schedule due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[124] In early April, Disney announced that Black Widow would now be released on November 6, 2020, and the rest of their Phase Four slate of films were shifted to accommodate this change.[125] In September 2020, Disney pushed the release back again to May 7, 2021,[126] followed by a third shift in March 2021 to July 9, 2021.

Im sure they are not loopholes. It's Disney you can bet their team of lawyers are very specific about the details of a contract.

Why? They can fight it and own the movie rights. She ain't going to win this, but she 100% has to fight it
They will turn public opinion against her and then settle out of court.
A breach of contract is a breach of contract regardless of whether they breached for their own profit, or for their own profit.

I don't think they will turn public opinion against her. They have no reason to drag her through the mud...but I also don't know how long they need the Black Widow character.

They really can't go into court saying that they didn't fully comply with the contract and expect to fight it now can they?

No surprise to see you going hard to defend weird dudes in Hollywood. Middle aged single guys without kids and who have never been married are usually in the closet or pedos. Or both.

Uncomfortable GIF

lol you were doing just fine until you dropped the above retardery . . .

They are already trying to turn public opinion against her by flashing the initial $20 mil out there so that many will say "Oh what a greedy (Stuffy?) bitch she is, I hope she loses"
