We can debate about where we think this team is going. But I'd argue the next 10 games probably will play an important role on how they handle what happens at the deadline. Now they they have to play with a short roster in the next 10 games mainly because the MLB feels its necessary to prove a point. I mean its just the Mariners, who cares right? But yeah baseball just pushes me away by the day and its not just because I'm a Mariner fan. Rant over

This is one part they are weak at. No one could’ve foreseen the commissioner changes rules mid season (they agreed to it) but I highly doubt they could’ve seen it actually enforced more just like the 30 rules he keeps trying to get through but doesn’t actually ever have the umps enforce it. The MLBPA has to play nice guys and try to get all of the good PR they can for the fight coming up.

yeah if this happened Cole or someone like that. It would either get ignored by the umps or overturned somehow with the uproar.

If I was him I would make an announcement that the commissioner and the players union can both kiss his ass and now they have a legit non bullshit reason to suspend him.
