Yeah, the Rams definitely don't want to give up much for him. It'll be interesting to see if Philly even wants to trade him and what they will ask for if they do.

Hate to jump into the conversation but since it's related to the Eagles and Sanchez I'll give you my opinion here. I don't think Sanchez is going anywhere. If a QB gets traded, it will be Barkly. Furthermore, I know that the Rams cherish their draft picks. I don't see them making any trade for a QB. Just my opinion. Ride with who you have. The Rams have a solid defense and some very good weapons on offense. Draft a QB in next draft and enjoy the success you'll have moving forward. The Rams friggin are looking good.

Whats crazy about Davis in the preseason is that he spent a lot of time against the Browns 1st teamers and 2nd teamers, IIRC. It was dumbed down offense vs dumbed down defense but he was thrown into the fire and a lot of his passes were targeting whoever Justin Gilbert was on and he isnt exactly on the back of the Browns roster.

Davis flashed a lot of potential as a backup. He scrambled well and threw good passes when they were easy ones to make.


+1 And the Browns D is going to be pretty good this year.

Lost in this Sanchez discussion is Garrett Gilbert who I believe is going to be a good QB eventually. WE don't need no stinking Sanchez!

I'm skeptical, he couldn't even win the UT job when there weren't many good options at UT.

I said it earlier, (Maybe not this thread) I'll take any one of those USC QB's over in Philly they both made the SC and Eagles systems look easy.(Especially Sanchez) and that's coming from a Bruins fan!

Mark has looked good in a QB friendly system with Chip Kelly and the Eagles, Jermaine.

I think the Rams too have a QB friendly system he good look good with....


If not, it could be an option....

TBT I've watched the Browns game a few times and I'm with some others here and want Austin Davis to start and Hill as our backup.

Hill is a great option as backup and Davis could be the lightening striking twice scenario.

I don't see that as even an outside opportunity with Hill starting....

As far as Gilbert, I live in Dallas -
No one here was impressed with him
At SMU playing in a very weak conference. He hasn't seen a real college D, much less a stout NFC west D.

Practice squad rat is what I'm thinking.
