Just for fun what would it take to trade up to the 2nd pick to get Matt Kalil? That'd solidify the left side for the next decade.

If we trade up to the 2nd pick, we better be drafting RG3.

I was going to pose this question and wondering how much it would take. You think the price would be significantly less then the 1st pick(Andrew Luck)?

Maybe our 1st, 2nd and 3rd this year, along with our 1st and 2nd next year. Then throw in maybe a Vernon Davis or Joe Staley? I think they both have long contracts so not sure that would work.

Maybe throw in Bowman? I love the guy but it would be worth it to get a franchis QB. Plus he would have high value seeing as though he is young and highly thought of.

Say we pick at #22 - a reasonable situation would be we give up a 1 2 and 3 this year, a 1 and 2 next year, and a player worth a lower round 1st. So maybe Bowman and they give us back an average LB or something like that.

Way too expensive for that guy at #2. Much rather sit tight and see if a QB we like falls into range, and if not just grab a WR or CB.

agree with not going after #2, we're simply too far back.

we almost have to re-sign Alex Smith anyway, so lets save those picks to strengthen the team (2012 draft) and possible trading (2013 draft).
