Brandon Jacobs plans to cut weight

Brandon Jacobs didn't do squat in New York

After reading reports like these I've warmed up to the Jacobs signing. If he can build up his explosiveness and power and if we can cure him of being the tip toe burglar he might be a pretty nice addition to the backfield.

nothing against Jacobs, but IMO the numbers won't work out. we can only keep so many RB's and he'd have to totally outshine Gore and Hunter. since i don't see him doing this, he's gone. after spending a 2nd on James, he'd have to 'bust' to lose his spot.

so those are the three RB's we go with......Gore, Hunter, and James. we won't keep another fullback behind Miller. if Miller can't play we'll start using those H back sets and occasionally linemen.
