With the Niners on its way to getting the second overall pick and their only win was against us in San Fran, maybe these Rams will return the favor rather than just showing up for a paycheck. This is going to be the Inept Bowl of futility. Maybe Kaepernick will show-up and flip everyone off during the playing of the national anthem or something completely boneheaded like that. Maybe I'll make an appearance for the game, since I am home battling the flu and maybe not. We shall see.

Lost week 17 last year as well (although it was a close game).

I'm hoping the Rams are fired up with 10 days under the belts to prepare. Gaines should be back bumping Joyner to 3rd CB, so that should help shore up the DBs, even if Joyner and Alexander are out, thinning the safeties.

Marquez is on IR and Mike Thomas is likely out as well, so McRoberts will have to step up. Losing Thomas will really hurt on the kick coverage teams.
