intriguing. Of course, Id say its better than 50-50 that there will be no camp at this point, but if there is, samsonov could be a nice wild card. H'es only 33, which is not THAT old, and he has good history with jumbo. This is the kind of player who can be the difference marker much like wellwood really helped create a 3rd line after he was picked up off waivers. If samsonov is able to perform at a high level, especially on a wing with jumbo, then that give the sharks the Jumbo-Samsonov-marleau option with Pavs as a 3rd line C with Galiardi and Wingels. All is very premature but I would love him to make the squad if he can handle it.

Samsanov's agent has denied the report saying he is in discussions with several teams and nothing is finalized.
