I really didn't expect the Lakers to have a chance tonight, but these young guys are hungry and out to prove something. I really expected better from Doc Rivers. Something about the Clippers just seems to turn the best coaches into crap. I am just speechless

On another good note - I know it's really really early, but Carlos Boozer treated me nicely tonight - he dropped 31 points and with his rebounds and et gave me 42 points. Right now I am 111 to 19 for Cane. I was looking at his roster - his roster doesn't look well uh, not scary

I thought Vinny was back over there on the bench. I didnt see much difference in the Clips playing style nor any improvement out of Blake Griffin. I'll give them about a month before declaring them legally dead.

and if Lakers would have lost the haters be out in full force but they all either seem shell-shocked like Doc and/or point to Kobe not playing.....as long as it's a Lakers W, don't care if it's Henry, Kaman, Farmar, Hill wearing the uni. We beat the Pacific Division champs and the Lakers banners were shining brightly. Yup, it's only one game but saw glimpses of what the team will do during exhibition which is being athletic, hustling, hitting 3's, and picking each other up with NO drama or agendas....

The Clippers is like a man who just got married and things he is the boss and controlling the shots when it's really his lovely wife that is in control and is merely letting him think that. Just like the man who will be better off when he realizes, however that she is the boss and learns to say "Yes Dear" The Clippers will also be better off when they realize Los Angeles is the Lakers Team and they are the Lakers Doormat

If Chris Kaman can stay healthy he's gonna be a nice addition for the Lakers.

this version of Lakers bench will keep them in games unlike previous two years....scored 75 pts in last pre-season game and 76 tonight. They not only can hit the 3 but will also penetrate(see Xavier, Farmar) and hustle(see Hill on the boards).

Goes back to what I said during preseason. It all depends on cohesiveness. Cohesive teams are certainty capable of beating more talented ones. Sample was the game last night...
