You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
I read all of the pre-NFL draft rumors that the Rams were allegedly going to trade Bradford, which didn't happen. And maybe was not going to happen. Read some of the reviews on Sam for 2014 and some "experts" paint a terrible outlook for him. Some come right out and say that the Rams need to move on from him.
According to consensus rankings, he's the 25th ranked QB. Some have him as high as 15. Others have him as low as 31. (Really? 31?)
My view was that Bradford was making steady and consistent improvement until he got hurt. He played in only 7 games last year, but threw a TD in EVERY game. In fact, he averaged a solid 2 TD per game last year. (Only Peyton, Brees, Rivers, Foles and Dalton accomplished that average, or better.)
Am I missing something? Am I blinded by this lone statistic? Why are so many experts down on him?
