The 49ers did alright when they were in the same boat this year, so I can't feel bad for the Lions. Hell, all year long it seemed like the 49ers were getting shitty placement on those balls close to 1st down, even at home, while their opponents were getting generous spots.

BTW, I hope you're ready to get pissed off about that next week. Watching the Saints get the home-field ball placement at Candlestick, while the 49ers get the worst spots possible. I know I am, haha.

Colston had a good end to the year with 5 TD's in his last 4 games, but only 3 in the other 12 games combines. Bowe is a much more dangerous target and has had a variety of average or below average QB's throwing to him since he's been in KC. Granted Brees has lots of weapons, but just like that last play Colston had, he didn't even have to adjust to the pass because they are usually right to him. I would like to see more consistency from him.
