Besides the BountyGate, now the Saints are reportedly had secret audio equipment in opposing coaches and coordinators booths to eavesdrop for plays and game plans the last 3+ years.

Are the Saints really a good team, or just recipients of ownership and coaching staff to cheat the system and create an unfair advantage?

It was from 2002-2004 according to the report..... Evidently the system went away after the hurricane.

Given that they didn't win anything during the time, I don't think this will be a big deal.

BTW -- I'd be shocked to learn that Jerry Jones "hasn't" tried this!

Are his coaches that incompetent that they can't even cheat to avoid losing?

They were 1 game under .500 the 3 years they were cheating.

The season after, they went 3-13.

Of course many things could have factored into that record, but without considering anything else, whatever they were doing may have actually been working.

Doesn't matter if it worked, it can be prosecuted under wiretapping laws and is a federal crime..if proven, which will be near impossible I would imagine.

I'm not sure how much you can read into that 3-13 in 2004.... That season was pretty fucked up for the Saints players.

I believe I read the statute of limitations to prosecute have passed. However, the victims (in this case the other teams that were recorded) have up to 2 years upon discovery of recordings to file a lawsuit. I don't see any way that happens.

You are correct. I read that as well.
