On point!!! This year going into the season banking on Romo's health, is dumb. I hope they have a better plan for a back up QB then Moore.

Paxton Lynch in the 2nd, Dak Prescott in the 3rd, or Jacoby Brissett in the 4th and beyond would be my guess. We will see...

Heath got this contract for one reason. He hustles! He runs like a raped ape with a high motor. Unfortunately he thinks like a raped ape as well.
but let this be a lesson to all those trying to make football teams. Coaches cant give you hustle, but they think they can coach you up. BTW I think Heath is a good Special teamer (better than decent)
if his 4 year contract is cheap I am ok with it. If we get down to needing our 4th string safety that position is hurting anyways. Well really it needs an uplift anyways & we can cut bait with more expensive safety that doesn't need to be playing on the Cowboys.

Yes it is, the good thing is the only guaranteed portion is his bonus 1.8M, so he's not tied to the team for the length of the contract if he's not needed.

A good, not great STs guy at that...But in reality the years help you with your cap hit. I'm sure other than his bonus there is no guaranteed money. So it keeps his cap hit low and when you eventually cut him (he isn't likely to see 4 years of that contract) the cap hit isn't horrible either.
