If Thomas and Rambo both struggle during pre season then do we bring back Tanard Jackson when he gets reinstated especially if he is in football shape?

Jackson has to be a last resort option, if he gets re-instated. I'm not convinced he will. But if both the rookies struggle (which I expect to a certain extent), then if Jackson is available, you bring him in.

I think Jackson is a regular season injury desperation option.

Otherwise if the rookies struggle we are probably looking at Meriweather/Doughty starting.
