So I'm pulling this back up since the local news is covering each move everyday now,

They can kiss my ass, I'm still going to call it the "Safe" and most likely throw up a little in my mouth when I walk into the front gate looking at that stupid color!

I understand that T-Mobile wants to market their product and the pink color is part of their brand, but that is going to look so fucking atrocious on a stadium that is based around a green color scheme.

My hope is that by the time I leave the stadium and it's dark out, I don't go on a drunken rant every time about how fucking awful pink looks on Safeco Field.

I never called it the "Safe" I'd always just call it "Safeco," but I anticipate it's going to take me a while to make the transition to calling it "T-Mobile Park." I still frequently call CenturyLink Field "Qwest Field".

That’s why I say we call it the Pink. Otherwise at night it looks like you are walking into gentlemen’s club.

As far as I am concerned it will always be Safeco......period. I'll be damned if I'm gonna call it T-Mobile or Verizon or any other big Corp name besides Safeco. It took me a while to accept the name Safeco. Hell, it's just a stupid name anyway, but the color pink just doesn't cut it for me. :nono:

I guess it wouldn't hurt taken in some extra $5 bills in case I want a lap dance

There is actually a strip club a couple hundred feet south of the home plate entrance. Lap dances I think are $30, so $5s probably won't cover it.

Not that I would know from personal experience. :D

Is that still there? The last time I came in on that side (I think like 3 years ago) there was a petition to get it closed

As far as I know it is. I believe I went once during the 2018 season.

One of my buddies I'd go to games with a lot always liked going after the game. I'd normally get bored after about 45 minutes mostly because I start sobering up and I'm not willing to pay for lap dances (they're $30 before tip), or pay to go to the VIP area where (according to my friend) they'll (unofficially/dependent on the girl) let you beat off or whatever. I think he shelled out like $300 for that which is a ridiculous waste of money.

They don't serve booze and the girls are kinda ehh and all seem like they're on something. I'm not a huge fan. I still have enough of my hair to attract interest from girls without having to pay for it.

They'll actively advertise for it near the stadium and give you a discount on the cover. They do play really good music though.

There's going to be a whole lot of stink in the pink this summer.
