Vokoun's probably the only goalie in the NHL that can have an entire fanbase bashing him during a game, and yet still steal a game because the team in front of him sucks so much.

I think I like about a handful of players on this team right now.

A win is a win especially on the road, but that was horrible, really. Buffalo controlled the game the last two periods, but that first period hurt them.

I would hope DeBoring isn't overly happy about this win, but I'm sure he'll have nothing but great things to say, despite blowing a 3-0 lead.

...and I thought that was a trip on Myers. Panthers broadcasters thought so too.

And to make it worse, the Bruins & Habs won tonight, the Rangers and Lightning are in a 3 point game, and the Sens are winning after 2.

It was a strange game and it was a trip on Myers but the Sabres were in the situation because they played like shit in the first so they have no one to blame but themselves.

Congrats ICW the Panthers were clutch when they had to be and as you said on the road.

It certainly was surprising to see a 1 goal win for a change and a late 3rd period goal for instead of against.

Surprised Miller didn't make the save on Garrison. With the Panthers luck, and Miller probably makes that save, more often than not.

Vokoun made a big save on Vanek in the end.

All in all, I think these two teams are similar. Mediocre, and rely way too much on the goaltender. They might have their flashes of greatness, but lets face it, the two teams need their goalie to be very good, in order to win games.

And the Sabres are in trouble if Roy is out for awhile, and Rob Niedermeyer becomes the 1st line center.

On the bright side for you guys, Tyler Ennis was really impressive tonight. He made McCabe look like a dumbass on that play that was later ruled a no goal, which ultimately didn't matter because Leopold scored, anyway.

By the way, it seems like Leopold's been really good for you guys. Not surprising to me, as he was really solid here.
