LOL at Foligno scoring to make it 3-2.
DAMMIT!!!! Sabres better not try to be a hero, and blow their chance at a good draft pick!
Like they said on GR today it doesn't matter unless they blow it up at the top and as I've said I agree.
Unless there's a Crosby. Mario or Gretz coming out of juniors and there isn't.
Go back the past 10 years and take a look at who the top 3 draft picks were each year.
Then take a look at who the Sabres drafted in the 1st round that same year.
If you can honestly say that the Sabres wouldn't benefit, or be a better team by having one of those top 3 players over who they drafted, I will drop the whole thing.
See Edmonton. I really don't feel like going over this again.
To be fair, Edmonton is doing better than the Sabres this year, and have more of an upside.
But you can't just use Edmonton as an example every time, there are always anomalies in any statistic.
Show me any other team that had as many 1st round pick as Edmonton, and still stayed at the bottom?
Are you saying the Sabres couldn't use a player like Jones or MacKinnon?
god help the rest of the league if their management actually smarten up and balance that team out.
^, Something we don't have.
I honestly don't feel like debating this again. Like i said the other day can't we agree to disagree?
I have carpel tunnel as it is and can't get into marathon posting.
I respect your opinion IPW it just differs from mine.
Then why can't you just let me vent my opinion the same as yours without it being called into question?
I wouldn't have anything to debate about with you, if you didn't call me out with a rebuttal on what I post.
The Sabres have NO chance to make the PO's this year, so why would you want them to draft out of the top 3 is all I'm asking? I honestly think they have a better shot at rebuilding and competing again if they get a top 3 player over drafting someone who's in the 10th-15th spot is all.
OK, you may be right.
No guarantees ever in life Boss, but we both just want to see this team win again, and hopefull in the very near future, win the Cup.
And that is something we can always agree on.
