I can't fault the effort tonight. With the exception of two plays they played well but I don't see under the circumstances they can be criticized.

I would start with Stafford. Roy can work the PP and PK and Stafford and even tonight the tv crew said Stafford is filling in because he can't work the PK (because of JH being out) plus he's not scoring.

Sabres got no help tonight as the Rangers, Sens, won tonight, and the Jets are looking like they are going to win as well.

Sabres only have 3 points more so far this Season than the Sabres team last year.

It was a miracle for that team to finish 7th to make the PO's, and I don't see a repeat performance this year.

It's too much to ask of this team.

Ha ha, yea he hasn't got it going at all right now, but we both know that could change in a blink. The Sabres as a whole seem to lack a little chemistry, not to mention numerous injuries. Worst that could happen is you get healthy and still have a shot at the playoffs. Flip side is you fall to far back to make up the ground..

Injuries aside, the Sabres still don't have the talent to be a serious contender for the Cup. Miller has been able to mask that problem with the way he's been able to steal a game, or keep them in it, but that is not the case this Season, and you can see the results.

I'm sick of moral victories at this point.
