After the Sabres lost that one game to the Canes 1-0, do you remember Ruff saying that they need to go 7-5 in their last 12 games to pick up 14 points to make the PO's?

Well in those 12 games, the Sabres went 9-1-2 for 20 points, and the 7th seed in the PO's.

Also towards the end of December when the Sabres lost that game against the Flames, the Sabres were 14-18-4 for 32 points.

After that game, the Sabres went 29-11-6 for 64 points.

Now that is just incredible considering that a 4 game winning streak is the best they ever managed all year.
