I guess the real question becomes who gets the call-up, assuming Kaleta gets 5+?

Sabres have 14 forwards up, but Ennis and Hecht are still hurt and with Kaleta gone, they're one short, unless they move Gragnani or Sekera to forward, which they've done with Sekera in the past.

My guess would be Kassian since he's the closest fit style-wise to Kaleta. Nobody in Rochester is having a very good season so far though.

They asked Kotalik but he told them to "Lick my balls" My guess would be to move Sekera up front for a game or two.

You never know, they might get into shoot-outs every game Kaleta is out and then they'd be wishing they had Kotalik.

I wouldn't mind seeing Sekera up-front, but I also wouldn't mind seeing someone from Rochester get a chance to show his stuff for a couple games.

Hey, look at it this way. So far through 11 games, the Sabres are 6-5 with 12 points.

Last year after 11 games, they were 3-6-2 with 8 points.

The Sabres are 3 points better this Season so far. :cheer2:

Gerbe steps.

I would say that the new changes to the Arena are spoiling the players, but that wouldn't explain why they played like shit at Home last season as well?

Let's see what team shows up tomorrow night against the Flames.

I agree, no doubt they shit the bed at least for the first six minutes or so. As you said we will see where they go from here.

And that is the most frustrating thing about this team this year. They play like shit for a brief period of time, before realizing that they are actually a pretty good team, but by that point, the damage is already done.

Even when they are winning and controlling the game, they suddenly play like shit just long enough to blow the game.

Very frustrating.

And Leino better get his shit together. That guy was brought here to play Center, and now he's going on about how he wants to play wing again. He also has the personality of a wet dish rag when he does interviews.

Yeah, it's been pretty pathetic. They blow two 1 goal leads against Carolina, a 2 goal lead against Tampa, a 2 goal lead against Columbus (which they rallied to win), a 1 goal lead (with only 4 minutes left) against Florida, and then they spot Philly 3 early goals.

And with the exception of the Columbus game, the power play has looked completely anemic at home.

Quite the record at home.

Edit: 1000th post!

That should make him better. With LaLime behind him, he knew he was starting every night.

Knowing that there's finally a competent backup should motivate him.

It's because Enroth is playing better right now, and it's in his mind that he may get less starting time now, and open a whole can of worms about how average he is after all.

Just like the receiver who drops the ball he should catch because he heard footsteps coming.

With Lalime as his backup there was no doubt that Miller is the better choice for goalie.

Just like the average looking chick that suddenly looks a lot hotter when she hangs out with her ugly friend.

Enroth is no Lalime.
