Lets hope the Sabres can shake the cobwebs off from sitting for a week after their trip over the pond.

I see the Kings lost their first game back.

The Canes come in after a nice victory over the Bruins in Boston and Ward is looking solid..

The party in the plaza is on tonight and both my son's are going. The arena should be rocking welcoming the boys back.

Good luck to the Canes and Their fans but...

I hated the long layoff, though I understand the reasoning for it.

Hopefully the jet lag is totally gone, everyone's sobered up from their German beer drinking, and the new locker room fitness center has managed to keep the rust from creeping in.

So looking forward to this game.

I also wanted to give a belated Happy Birthday to Jeff Skinner. He's 19 years old, if you didn't know, and I guess he had one hell of a special day.
