N323P ? FlightAware

Looks like the rumors may be growing legs now! From what I've read, N323P is Bryant Jrs old jet, was sold to Saban last summer. If asked does this surprise me... The answer is NO!
323 is # of wins Bahr had, P is for "Pops" - what Jr. called Bahr.

I'm not making that up just got an email on this. This is getting kinda of interesting no?

Good Lord twitter has gone full retard over this Saban/ Texas crap. I read one tweet that said Saban is scared of Auburn, thats why hes leaving Bama. Another tweet said that Bama was a shit job and no one will ever succeed there.

Seen some post's around Texas saying that an offer will be/has been made to Saban in the ballpark of $10 million a year. Maybe a 10 year deal.

That is the deal about Tejas.....they have unbelievable amount of boosters and funding. If they really wanted to they could easily pay $15 million without batting an eye.

I really hope we don't pursue him.

We're better off with a young guy that can coach for a decade + ......not a guy that's probably going to retire within 5 years

I hope our boosters and new AD are smarter than this

This is the problem with Texas fans. They are complacent with nothing. That is the reason Mack Brown was able to survive at that sleeping monster for 16 years. Fans didn't care that they only could win 10-11 games a year, only got 1 national title in 16 years at Texas and only had a handful of Conference titles.

Now, they say they don't want to pursue Saban.......Would rather take a chance with a young coach. :L

Ok, please Texas. Please take your chances on a young coach. the CFB world will gladly continue to wait for your eventual rise to power.

Hiring Saban is a quick fix that will only work for a few years. At some point, you HAVE to hire a younger coach. Better to do it now than later.

I guess not all of us have the same concept of football. There is also no guarantee Saban wins at Texas either. The guy is probably going to retire within 5 years, and we're back at square one.

This CAN'T be this hard to grasp.

so you have Saban start grooming a coordinator to take over. Im sure Kirby Smart would be a great replacement for Saban wherever he may land.

and, yes...Saban would win at Texas. he has won at Alabama in a 10x harder conference. He would have even more resources at Texas to compile a winning program and he is in an easier conference.

Texas would almost be unstoppable with Saban at the helm. Do you guys not realize how GREAT your program should be? You've been stuck in mediocrity for so long now under Mack you have forgotten where your program should be right now.

YOU'RE TEXAS!

If Saban came and won 3 NC's in 5 years then retired, you wouldn't give two shits. I'll take it.....

im not seeing how these networks last...in present day majority of people nationally have either dish or direct tv than not. pretty sure its like one longhorn game that is exclusive to longhorn network. to think this was the major hold up to lauching a PAC16 super conference.

Sadly I think those days are over.

Maybe not for a very very small number of teams. One would be yours, even so...... Dont think we see the long term HC in CFB in todays day and age and moving forward.

saban was at lsu for what... 5 or 6 years? got that program rolling and it is still a contender year in and year out because of the foundation he left. it would likely have been the dominant program for a while now in the SEC if saban wasn't coaching at alabama.

chances are if saban does leave alabama, a good coach will jump at the chance to coach alabama because of the amount of talent there. that talent will win games and that in turn will continue bringing in talent. maybe it will take a step back, but the foundation is there for continued success.

if saban coached at texas for 5 years and then handed the reins off to someone else, i think it would be great for the texas program. if in those 5 years he claimed a national title along the way which he is certainly capable of, then even moreso.
