I don't think Saban cares. Especially the way he dumps the kids that don't perform so he can make room for all the recruits he brings in.

This is true. You would hope the kid wouldn't pay all that much attention to it, but you know that won't happen. In the end, it won't matter. Saban just wants to let the kid know he is watching him, show him some love, etc. If the kid fizzles out, or gets in trouble Saban will pull is offer. It is that simple. If he turns out to be great, then Saban was there in the beginning.
