I agree. Given, the Jets were a mess on offense, no passing game and no line but he looked completely shot last season. The burst was gone and without that he's not much of a threat.

I agree, but that's kind of the case here. Williams had a legit shot to make the team, heck, he had an outside chance to be the starter. If they have a preference of style between CJ, Rice, or any of the other backs on the scrapheap, I'd rather get the pick of the litter now. A pulled hammy by McFadden or Randle and things become tedious quick

Then hold off until a few quality backs arecreleaaed. CJ is no longer what he was.

On the PUP list with a hamstring, guy can never stay healthy. Should have taken a RB in the draft, now they almost have to get another back from somewhere. Randle, Dunbar, Seastrunk

hard to say but jumping to conclusions ain't right after day 1. You do know you can come off the PUP list at anytime during the preseason and training camp, right? Maybe he's in pads this weekend, who knows?

Not jumping, I concluded a couple years ago. Im aware he can come off the list, doesnt mean he will stay healthy, he is made of glass. I would love to be wrong, but I also would hope my favorite team doesnt count very heavily on him this season.
