I honestly cringe at the idea.

I know he has missed out on a large pay day, but obviously the Steelers recognize that and have more or less taken finances out of the picture by continuing to pay him...that said, I don't want to see him play again.

hes so far away from pro athlete. His recovery is amazing.......but getting back to that level is nuts

Agreed...I think in the back of his mind he probably knows that as well, but there appears to be a chance he can lead somewhat of a normal life.

It's been a blessing having him stay so close. It may not be the end of his involvement, but its important for him to make this transition. Wish him all the luck in the world, and hope to see him back to visit at some point down the road.
