Great news for Ryan and his family. No surgery needed. He has movement in his legs and feeling. He is one lucky MOFO. I agree with those who said to IR him for the rest of the season.

He needs to ask a lot of questions about the area of that injury. When you tackle like that, you expect a neck injury, not a mid-back injury.

I was really worried that he fucked himself even more when he forced his body to turn over. If you can't move or feel anything.....Never Move!

Take your time Ryan. Retire if you feel that is best. Football is a big bag of shit when compared to being able to walk.

I hope so too. Lot of optimism in the Steelers complex yesterday about Ryan. Vince Williams, his closest friend, said he's been in constant contact with him and said Ryan is "fine". Not sure what that means yet, but I guess we can find solace in Vince's confidence.

Any updates on Burfict? I'm sure he's in concussion protocol even if he is fine.

Okay...I know that PIT picked up Shazier's 5th yr option so he's guaranteed that $8.7 mil this yr...but, with the player being lost for the season in '18...how does this effect the cap? Same as any other player on IR I assume, but I'm not sure how the team handles it when the player might have a career ending injury.
