Obviously Am figuring Clady coming back at reduced salary like is being reported and yes he missed all last year so there is also chance he is in good condition and ready to get back to his old self. Yeah it's a crap shoot but if he comes with a reasonable salary it certainly can't hurt. In case you might of missed it,we've lost a few guys already.:)
No shit, Sherlock. So, with that keen observation of yours, are you advocating keeping Clady and bringing in Okung? Last I checked Clady didn't want to go as low as Elway wants him to, but hey, things change daily so who knows. Personally, I'm not sure Elway would want to invest so much money into one position, so either Clady or Okung would be starting in an unfamiliar line position if we were to take on both players.

Still, do you want to pay $11 million plus to a guy who is going to miss about 5-6 games a year? It is a risky proposition for anyone, which is why Okung is still on the market after visiting Pitt, NY, Denver, etc. etc.
We paid Clady $8.6 MM to sit and watch last season. NOT what Denver had in mind.

It appears Okung came in with a very team friendly deal, so I'd say it's worth the risk. Clady wasn't quite himself in 2014 after being injured nearly all of 2013. Then on top of that he tears an ACL, putting him out for all of 2015. I suspect it's a lot to ask of Clady to be the same LT he was before injury after all that.
