Didn't get to see the game but never apologize for a win, especially when it's against the defending champs. 1 hit, 1 run, who cares? That's 1 more run than they got.
And yeah, I love pitchers duels. I remember going to a game and watching Joel Piniero outpitch Roger Clemens in a nail biter.
I think I'll try to go to Sunday's game. Have to be in Seattle that morning anyway.

I came close to chaperoning a club trip to Seattle to watch the Sounders day game, and M's night game, but realized that it wasn't quite worth it to deal with kids on a weekend.

walked 8x's tonight so far... Patience at the plate has been awesome to see of late, especially on our home stand... Everything looking great tonight...
If there was only one issue, it would be the 14 men they've LOB on base so far... Only 6 hits tonight thru 8 innings and only 1 yesterday the entire game... Relying on the HR as much as we do is a bit nerve racking...
All in all, great pitching performance by Miles...
