On pace to win 99 with Eloy and Robert out...This is our reality gentlemen. I still kinda can't believe it...
So far, so good. Long way to go, though. Not trying to be a downer, just a cautious realist.

yes! treated with respect and appreciated for his wisdom!!!!
I'm often frustrated with them when you express your frustration on here. I usually hate on them for a little bit then it fades. Feels good, in a fleeting way.

So that's a no to a sportshoop reg gathering to hit the Cubby Bear, flop out our dongs and take a piss right on top of the bar to cement our baseball dominance?

I've never resided in or near the great city of Chicago. Austin - Texas has been my home for a few decades.

Never heard of it. I don’t go south of 47th street.

There should be one exception:

I lived in Brighton Park for a decent while...probably passed you a few times in our lifetimes...

St. Pat's...Was north side for my earlier youth and then south side for my later...Old man was a diehard Sox fan. Thus am I. LOL...True story: We used to have a "Walk to Wrigley" fundraiser deal...We would walk all the way from Belmont and Austin to Wrigley and all of us would get a free ticket, top fundraiser would throw first pitch etc...I would raise nothing...do the stupid walk...then I would throw my ticket in the trash and go home. Ah memories.

Nice. A couple of my buddies went there. We played them in baseball. I went to St. Ignatius.

Did you go any of the games where we gave you the :

WE ARE

ST PATS

...over and over deal?

I always did find that one perfectly annoying. I wonder if they still do it. Probably the only good thing about that school...'cept maybe that one time they thought it was a good idea to have a pep rally with about 20 cheerleaders from Notre dame locked in with about 500 young hormone-driven boys....Then the lead girl did the baton thing in the air and she missed it coming down and it hit her square in the face...She ran off crying...Probably still scarred because hell if I forgot it 20+ years later. Poor kid...

I don’t recall that chant specifically. Forgot you guys weren’t coed. Since I’m a Bridgeporter, I wanted to go to De La Salle or Mount Carmel with my friends. My parents told me I could only go to one of those schools if I didn’t get into Ignatius.

The biggest pricks we encountered playing in the Catholic League were the Fenwick Friars. Straight up assholes.

I have a few good friends from De La Salle because they went to St. Mary's in Minny with me...Another Christian Brothers school like Pat's and De La Salle. Funny thing is St. Mary's had a TON of Chicago folks...I think it was like 25% of the population...Being on the border of Wisconsin and Minny made for some interesting football seasons. Granted, Bears always sucked during those years....Sad story.

Yeah, you're a tad too young to know folks I know 7 years my junior...but small world anyway.

No shit. My buddy went to St. Pat's and also went to St. Mary's in MN. He's my age also. He briefly went to Ignatius with me then he transferred to Pat's. Small world indeed. I stayed in Chicago and went to Loyola for college. My track record makes me think I ain't leaving the city.

@ChiSoxFan

@PnkPanther had a Harold's Chicken Shack in Minnesota for YEARS and refused to go there despite my pleas....It makes me sad...

Also, if you're ever in Chinatown and like a good, reasonably priced noodle soup, hit up Seven Treasures and get Noodle soup with wonton and bbq pork. The place is a dive, but you'll thank me. ;)
