we are in a pretty good position to go BPA - but to me the three positions I'd like to see addressed are DL, S, and OG. I think round two pick at 63 will line up well for a DL. With the 3 S taken in round 1, I doubt we see value there at 63 - but maybe there will be at 98.

My guess:
63 DT
98 S, or if value is better OG

But what happens if Hunter Henry is available at 63? I wasn't interested at all any earlier, but that could be tempting. That's the good thing, I feel like the FO has put us in a position to take the highest rated player regardless of position.

No brainer for me if Hunter Henry is there.

I would definitely be ok with Henry at 63. Great way to show the investment in Lynch by getting him a great receiving TE that just never drops a pass.

right now the Broncos could go a bunch of ways with this pick and I could be happy. If Chris Jones falls that far I would be very upset if we didn't take him but I doubt he is still there. His DUI though really could drop him more than people think.

I also can still see Safety at 63. Von Bell and Sean Davis both make a lot of sense. Again have to see if they make it that far. I doubt that Von Bell does but Davis stands a good chance.

OG Westerman makes sense in the 2nd as not sure he makes it to our 3rd. Spriggs and Clark with very high upside athletically make sense. Again just have to see who falls. Many said there was no way that Lynch would get out of the top-15 yet there he was at 26. Love that Elway just sits back and waits to see the talent that falls and swoops in.

Looking at trade values, our early 5th round pick could move us up 5 or 6 spots. If someone like Chris Jones falls there, I'd be willing to move up again.

(this was said mostly to take a few years off of Draft Crazy's life!)

What round for Braxton Miller? Love his ceiling. That spin move from his first game was killer.

Can Miller return punts?

I really like that list and like the chances that the Broncos land a very talented player here in round 2. Lots of ways Elway can go here and bring in a guy for the now and the future.

Ideally, tonight goes as follows:

2. Chris Jones, DL, Mississippi St
3. Sean Davis, S/CB, Maryland

I think it will be

2. Bronson Kaufusi
3. an offensive lineman that feels like a reach

These are the rounds that Elway has struggled with the most to find great talent. Really hope that changes this year. Just really hoping we don't do another Schofield type moment that leaves you going "Who?"

Well they don't have Chris Jones in their top-32 so maybe just maybe he will make it to us.

They have Ronald Biair at 17 I guess my eye for talent on DL might fit with CBS... I just like how 25 yards down field this kid is making the tackle

I wouldn't mind him one bit. You definitely see the talent and the fit for our scheme with him. Really at this point lots of options. I like Jihad Ward as well to fit that mold of a guy that can replace what Malik brought to the table.

I like Jihad Ward for our second pick because most of the players posted above will be gone. Jihad could be a monster player in a couple of years. In the third there are a number of good-looking safeties. My favorite is Sean Davis, but he probably won't last that long.

Like Springstein said - sorry I am having problems posting and replying on this forum - I can see us moving up using a fifth to get a Chris Jones or Cody Whitehair if they are available in the second half of the round.

Hey welcome @RDog. Yeah sorry when you first start posting at this site we have a bit of a delay just to keep the trolls from running all over the board for a few days then leaving. Make you have to work just a bit which scares most trolls off.

@58crash man just watching Ronald Blair you can't help but get excited. That Clemson game alone just makes you think "how is this kid not a 1st round talent?" He actually looks like Malik on the field with his athleticism so I could definitely see him being the guy the Broncos target. Just have to see who has the loudest voice in the draft room today.
