I'm putting a sawbuck on Chris Kunitz at 14-1.
Nah, he's not on the ice enough these days to make such an impact.
I remember getting my invite to the board. I felt so exclusive. Anyone know what happened to Maddog / Unbiased? Weren't they the two that basically ruined that place or am I getting the names wrong?
AO and Malkin at 1 to 1.So, who gets in the first cheap shot of the series? I have Tom Wilson at 4-to-1, although Kris Letang isn't far behind at 6-to-1.
Was hoping there'd be a game in Pittsburgh on a Saturday. Would've loved to have gone to one.I will be in Pittsburgh Sat. the 7th for my parents' 50th. They are playing in the wrong city that day.
/I might have skipped out on the anniversary party if the Pens had been in town.
//"Sorry, flight layover in D.C. Can't make the party."
The NHL needs to market its stars, man. Would you expect a Cavs-GSW series ad to not showcase Lebron and Curry? Or a Patriots-Broncos/Colts back in the day to not show Brady and Manning?NHL Network just showed the graphic for this series and it was Pens logo / Caps Logo. And the words were Sidney Crosby Vs Alex Ovechkin.
I can't wait for the day when we're past this. This is a great rivalry on it's own. And both teams are too fucking good to focus on those two.
I get the marketing. Just...
There are other guys playing and a history longer than those two have been alive.
Habs/Bruins are not just about PK and Chara.

Well, FWIW, you're comparing two players on playoff teams to two players on lottery teamsI get the marketing. Just...

I forgot to post this in the Rangers/Pens thread, but hopefully at the end of this series I can just photoshop Caps jerseys on these kids. The face of defeat is priceless. The mom was the absolute worst. I thought of asking to bathe in her children's tears but thought better of it. They were in my row for Game 5.
