Yes, there's luck involved. Pretty sure every team to ever win has had luck help them at some point. I'm also pretty sure fans know this. Between this article and the one yesterday that called pretty much every Pens goal lucky, they've gone into full whine mode. The series isn't over, no need to write it off. And if you want to call goals like the Fehr one in game 2 lucky, then you don't watch the sport enough.

This is the default setting DC has. The thing is the Caps play well in the playoffs but lose. It's hard to accept and it isn't "fair" which leads to articles like those. It has happened so many times at this point that people truly feel it doesn't matter how we play, the other team will find a way to win.
