I hope we see a lot of Webb tomorrow. He looked solid at RT better than Gilliam. He also looked better than Sowell so could we see (we always envisioned him as a LT ) Gilliam as a 2nd stringer? The Fact that these two guys have out played Gilliam ( Sowell and Webb )just goes to show you how bad our line really was. Will Gilliam take over LT and Webb on the right? Will Sowell stay as the LT? ( he has outplayed Gilliam in my eyes there ) My focus will be on that battle tomorrow. I like Gilliam but i never thought he was anything more than a average at best RT and moving him to LT scared the living Daylights out of me.

If the Hawks can hold up at the line and create a pocket Russell will slice and dice defenses up this season. Heck he did it in the 2nd half of last season even with a piss poor pass blocking Oline lol.

Gilliam had surgery this off season and missed a lot of time. Once he gets up to snuff, he'll be the better tackle on the OL IMO.

Gilliam got abused when blocking against the raiders 2nd and 3rd stringers at the RT spot.

Just watched the recording of the game again and he looks down right horrible. He was abused by rookies and wanna-be's.

Along with the release of Hill, only keeping 4 RBs is a bit of a surprise. Saw conflicting things about Tukuafu but it appears he did in fact get cut. I am wondering if we'll use a TE (Vannett) as an occasional lead blocker like the Vikings have done with Rhett Ellison. Either that or maybe Tukuafu comes back at the expense of one of 12 DBs who made the final 53.
