Not backing down is one thing but he might turn into a hot head that could cost this team some penalties. Let's hope he matures quickly.

What else is new with the offensive line? I'd be surprised if he wasn't a hot head.

I'm good with him showing some fire. He is a smart guy and I think this won't be a problem in the regular season.
We need some kick ass on the OL, no doubt about that.

I'm more than fine with the tough play leading to penalties. What's not ok is the pre snap penalties. You have to find an edge somehow. And it can't be to just be better than everyone else at every position, that's just unreasonable. And if your edge is going to be nastiness, toughness and the ability to get under the skin of your opponent, flags will come.

Seahawks have waived FB Jonathan Amosa and reported to have brought back Will Tukuafu whose always performed well with blocking duties.

Plus he can rotate in on the D-line if need be. I like it.

I can't imagine we'll see him doing that unless we're desperate for D-line help. He's gonna be the bulldozer in front of Rawls and Michael and hopefully be the brick wall that will keep Wilson upright more often than he was in the first half of last year and the first half of last week. It'll help tremendously that he's already familiar with the offense we're running and with the styles of the guys that will be running behind him.

He likely won't, you're right. Also right that familiarity with the system is a bigger plus. Just throwing the D-line thing out there.

So he says he was sticking up for a younger guy, which is fine but save this built up anger for the other teams during the season.
