Game Thread: Rose Bowl #3 Georgia vs #2Oklahoma, 5PM EST, ESPN

It was a great game. I did not like the play calling by OU, especially in the 4th quarter and OT. That kicking decision to end the first half was also a bad omen. Ended up basically being the difference.

What can you say about the running backs in that game though! Both sides, RBs were outstanding. Chubb/Michel are superlative, one-two punch.

Very entertaining game. Looked like both teams might run away with it at various points. We can only hope the next two games are even remotely as good.

One of the best games I have ever seen! My wife was cracking up at me the whole game! The icing on the cake, other than the "W", is shutting Mayfield up after the throat slashing gestures and the rest of his antics. Two great teams fought to the end!

I gotta say, it's a rarity kids stick around with that NFL level talent and wish more would do it to get their school a natty and to realize a dream.

Must admit, it's those two that just make me wanna pull for UGA ... just so that they could make that 'sacrifice' & big risk worth the while.

Thank you Georgia, I just couldn't deal with a choklahoma natty this year. Great game though by both teams. Thank god Baker Mayfield is done at OU. Now we can see what Lincoln Riley is made of as a program builder. Lots of young talent left, but no Baker to make everything click.

P.S. Regardless of who wins the other game, I will be rooting for Georgia. It's their turn to win the big one.

It's not just Michel and Chubb that came back. LBs Lorenzo Carter and David Bellamy did too. Bellamy didn't have a great game today, but Lorenzo Carter made some big plays including the FG block in OT.

Ledbetter and Trenton Thompson have said they're coming back next season.

Those guys coming back when they would have been drafted really did a lot to sell me on Kirby Smart.
